Hayball’s new Surry Hills Studio was officially launched late last month, with a fantastic group of clients and supporters braving a rainy night in Sydney to join the Hayball team in celebrating the opening of our prototype workplace.
Special thanks go to our interior design collaborator Bettina Steffens for all her work helping our vision become a reality. We now look forward to welcoming guests into the space to work with us, learn alongside us, and continue to push the boundaries of design into the future. Click here to view photos from the night.
To coincide with the studio launch, we have also introduced a series of education forums. Hosted by our Sydney team, the forums will feature a range of invited experts and facilitated by a Hayball team member, will discuss ideas and current thinking on subjects from ‘Nature As Learning’ to ‘Evolving Urban School Typologies’. The next forum will be held in our Sydney Studio on Thursday July 26 and will focus on Learning Through Play, and the effect of tactility, nature and play on children. International perspectives on early learning from Japan to Reggio Emilia, with Cynthia A’Beckett from the University of Notre Dame, Takaharu Tezuka from Tezuka Architects, and Gavin Jennings from Jekra
