Hayball’s intrepid staff are out and about in the world, sharing knowledge by presenting at conferences in Sydney and Shanghai, conducting research via traveling scholarships in Asia, Europe and America, and learning from the best design minds wherever we find ourselves.

Kit Ku will be presenting at the 4th International Symposium on Planning and Design of Contemporary K-12 Education Buildings conference in Shanghai later this month. She’ll be talking about Designing Schools for Better Learning  and will be writing an overview for Exchange’s next edition. so stay tuned.

Natalia Krysiak is leaving soon on her Churchill Fellowship, travelling to Singapore, China, Japan, Canada, and the UK to investigate best practice in designing child-friendly high-density neighbourhoods. Eleanor Peres will also be taking off around the globe from Tokyo to Paris, Rome to New York and on her Byera Hedley scholarship trip researching the Urban Architectures of Native Ecologies, both will be reporting back to Exchange in upcoming editions.

Sydney Studio Director Fiona Young will be presenting at the Designing Learning: MAAS Research Symposium, part of this month’s Sydney Design Festival.
