Hayball Brisbane, national expansion

Hayball has launched an office in Brisbane as part of the company’s national growth strategy.

The Brisbane office is Hayball’s third, complementing the company’s expertise in its established Sydney office and longstanding headquarters in Melbourne.

At the helm is Brisbane Studio Director David Jessup (pictured), previously a senior associate with the practice in Melbourne. David has a breadth of experience in Australia, Malaysia and China, across multi and single residential, student housing, education, commercial, and hotel and convention centre design and master planning. His flagship projects include Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds Redevelopment, The Merchant in Melbourne’s Docklands, and the award winning John Street Apartments in Box Hill.

Hayball’s expansion to Brisbane has been driven by strong local and international demand for expertise in market-informed and bespoke designed apartment developments in the Queensland capital.

The practice is currently delivering a number of residential projects across Brisbane, such as Chester & Ella in Newstead, and foresees tremendous growth in the coming years.

Managing director Tom Jordan said the company’s national expansion will be supported by Hayball’s expertise and leadership in the design of commercially viable inner-city apartments and urban renewal projects across Australia.
