Authored by Hayball

Universal Design in the Built Environment: Designing for All
Places that are equitable, kinder and smarter to deliver the best quality of life

GL[E]AM’s October panellists discussed the concepts behind universal design and various support initiatives both here and in the United Kingdom. Highlighting that people perceive the world and are shaped in different ways, the presentations explore the importance of designing with neurodiversity and ‘dis/ordinary’ metrics in mind.

“Inclusive Design / Universal Design: Designing a diversity of ways for everyone to participate in an experience with a sense of belonging’.

Thank you to our wonderful speakers Stephanie Bhim (Brickworks Consulting) and  Dr Jos Boys (Bartlett School UCL).
