Hayball is pleased to announce that Dr Donna Wheatley has joined the practice as Principal. Based in Sydney, Donna leads the NSW interior design team and is responsible for further developing Hayball’s interdisciplinary approach to workplace strategy and design nationally, as well as delivering next-generation educational environments.
Combined with her PhD in environmental psychology and extensive project experience, Donna helps clients create future-proof and dynamic workspaces to solve organisational challenges, optimise employee performance and adopt new workplace behaviours through an evidence-based design approach.

Donna is a registered architect and obtained a PhD from the University of Sydney titled “Branded Spaces: Mental Mapping Architectural Design and Experience”, and two first-class honours degrees in Architecture. She has led the strategy and design of many large-scale commercial, workplace, education and master planning projects for clients such as PwC, Blackmores, Air New Zealand, Medibank, Urbis, Minter Ellison, University of NSW and University of Sydney.
